Violin and Cello Duo at the Oaks at Plum Creek
/This summer, our violin and cello duo played music for a wedding ceremony at the Oaks at Plum Creek. The couple requested a set list of modern music, which we played as guests arrived.
The weather was very blustery and threatening rain, so the ceremony began early and concluded just as the first fat drops of rain began to fall. Just as we finished playing the recessional song, it began to pour in earnest, and we felt fortunate that we were under a canopy covering to protect our instruments!
Prelude Music (sample selections):
What a Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong), Blackbird (Beatles), All of the Lights (Kayne West), Can You Feel the Love Tonight from the Lion King, Hey Ya (Outkast)
Wedding Ceremony Music:
A Thousand Years (Christina Perri) - Wedding Party
Butterfly Waltz from Twilight - Flower Girl and Bride
Sweet Child ‘O Mine - Recessional
