Colorado is known for its ideal autumn days, with warm golden sunshine and crisp cool air. It was one of those bright Colorado days that I had the opportunity to play my cello for this gorgeous wedding ceremony at the picturesque Arrowhead Golf Club. This fun-loving couple was thrilled that the rain clouds of the past week had cleared for their wedding day, as if part of the plan all along.

Our string trio music wove the day's events together, serenading guests as they arrived, through the ceremony, and then the cocktail hour. We played slow and romantic modern melodies for the prelude, as the couple requested. The guests recognized many of the songs that we played, and I could see their faces light up as they heard familiar contemporary melodies played in a whole new way on our classical instruments.

What a sweet surprise when a small herd of deer emerged during the ceremony, peacefully grazing in the backdrop, as if on cue!

After the ceremony, we transitioned to the cocktail hour area, where we accelerated the tempo and created an upbeat mood with contemporary tunes as the guests mingled and enjoyed cocktails and appetizers. We played indoors because the temperature had dropped, and with the help of our professional speaker system placed outside, our music flowed seamlessly throughout both the indoor and outdoor spaces.
