I teach private flute, piano, cello, and recorder lessons out of my home music studio in Wesley Chapel, NC. I love to teach music so I can share the wonderful world I enjoy with children and adults alike. I give my students opportunities to explore music  by encouraging them to participate in recitals, ensembles, and competitions. In addition to giving them a foundation in classical music, I also and teach them the styles of music that interest them, including folk, Irish, jazz, pop, and their favorite classical composers. I am a professional flutist, pianist, and cellist. Flute is my specialty, and I have been playing the flute for almost twenty years. Not long after I began taking flute lessons, I learned to play the piano, and now I am taking cello lessons. I received a degree in Music Education with a focus in flute from UNCC.  I was trained as a classical musician but later learned to play in a variety of styles including jazz, traditional folk and Irish, and pop. I am currently teaching flute, piano, and cello out of my home studio in Wesley Chapel, NC, and playing wedding ceremony music, church music, and other event music across the Charlotte, NC area.
